Improving Literacy Through SEL and Mindfulness

This workshop will explore ways teachers can use restorative practices, socio-emotional learning strategies and mindfulness techniques to improve literacy. Participants will understand how strategic classroom practices can support larger school-wide and network-wide initiatives. Participants will experience a restorative circle, practice a mindfulness technique and be given an opportunity to share their own best SEL practices.
