David Cadia – Consultant and Facilitator, Design for Change USA
Design for Change (DFC) is a global movement that aims to empower students to say “I CAN” and inspire others by telling their own stories of change. The program promotes design process as a way of encouraging students to create and develop solutions for change in their communities and to put those ideas into action. Its unique curriculum has been introduced to some 30,000 schools in over 30 countries around the world. This experiential workshop uses “learning by doing” activities to introduce participants to design thinking based learning in the classroom. During the workshop participants will be organized into groups and presented a design challenge which they will solve together using the Design for Change methodology. The workshop will be facilitated by a master DFC coach.
