Fostering a School Climate to Support SEL

Research and practice tell us that effective implementation of SEL practices, requires a school culture and climate that fosters supportive and trusting relationships, student engagement, safety, cultural competence and responsiveness, and high expectations. In this session, district and school leaders will share insights and knowledge around creating and supporting conditions for Social Emotional Learning in their school systems, as well as strategies for supporting site leaders and staff in this process.
